Ingredients

  • 1 large bag of fresh green beans
  • 3 potatoes cubed and soaked in water to remove starch
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1 bag of ragin' cajun sausage
  • 1/2 cup of flour (regular or gluten free)
  • 5 cloves garlic or 1 spoonful jarlic
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3-5 cups water

Instructions

  • Cube 3 potatoes and add to a bowl of water, let sit for at least 15 minutes to remove starch
  • Chop up the bacon and add to large pot, cook until browned
  • Remove bacon and set aside
  • Add chopped sausage to pot and cook in the bacon grease until browned
  • Remove and set aside with bacon
  • Add chopped onion to pot and sautee in the bacon and sausage grease. Cook until translucent
  • Add garlic and 1/2 cup of flour to onion and grease and sautee continuously for about one minute
  • Add in 4 cups of chicken broth slowly and use spatula to deglaze your pan
  • Add in 2-3 cups of water
  • Add in your bag of large green beans and mix with liquid
  • Sprinkle with no salt tony chacherie's
  • Add in salt and pepper to taste
  • Add in a 1/2-1 tbsp of garlic powder
  • Drain the potatoes and add them to the pot
  • Cook 20-30 minutes until potatoes and green beans are tender
  • Add the sausage and bacon slices back into the pot
  • Mix everything together, serve, and enjoy!
